Credit Suisse Appoints Greenwich Private Banking Head

Credit Suisse Securities has appointed Jack Rubin as a managing director and head of the Greenwich, Connecticut office for its Private Banking USA business. "Jack has a long track record of success in working with wealthy clients and is ideally suited to lead the Greenwich office," said Matthew Gorman, managing director and head of the Eastern Region of Private Banking USA. "We are committed to establishing and growing our presence in the Greenwich area, and Jack's will be instrumental in that effort." Mr Rubin joins Credit Suisse from Silvercrest Distributors, where he was a managing director. Before that, he provided consulting services to EFG Private Bank, where he developed alternative investment products including hedge funds and private equity investments. He previously worked for Credit Suisse from 1994 to 2003. The planned opening of the Greenwich office is part of Credit Suisse's strategy to expand its presence in major US wealth markets. Private Banking USA operates 13 offices across the US and added locations in Orange County, CA and Rye Brook, NY in 2006.
